The passionate owners of La Isla from Peru and Spain, two countries renowned for their exceptional cuisines. Inspired by their shared love for great food, they crafted a unique culinary concept that blends the best of both worlds.

Our Story


Over the past year, La Isla’s kitchen has evolved into a creative laboratory, where international chefs collaborated to craft our menus, techniques, and recipes. By blending Indonesian ingredients with fresh ideas, we’ve created something truly special.

The journey began with Talora Rouffaud, a French pastry chef, who joined us to teach our talented local team—Siska, Teo, and Nisa—about desserts, bread, pasta, organic salads, and Sumatra coffee and cacao.

Thanks to their dedication and thirst for knowledge, our team has grown, transforming La Isla’s food offerings into a fusion of flavors and styles that leave our guests satisfied after a long surf session.

About Carlos Testino


A Culinary Visionary at La Isla

We were honored to welcome one of Peru’s top food ambassador, Carlos Testino, to La Isla. A passionate surfer with extensive culinary experience, Carlos was immediately drawn to our concept and offered to collaborate. Along with his talented sous chef, Willian Vilchez, they spent two weeks reimagining our menu, blending Peruvian, Amazonian, Indo-Asian, and Mediterranean flavors. The result? A unique culinary experience full of pure delight!

Carlos will periodically return to refresh our food concept, bringing new ideas to elevate your experience. We’re proud to have him as part of the La Isla family.
